Using new data sources and novel methodologies, the Scottish Centre for Administrative Data Research analyses public sector data and explores what linking it in new ways can reveal.
Comprising of researchers from a range of leading institutions across Scotland, the centre itself is hosted within the University of Edinburgh and directed by Professor Chris Dibben. Our research uses administrative data to examine issues from across society in Scotland and the UK, providing evidence-based insights to inform policy and practice, and for the public good.
Alongside the Scottish Government, we form ADR Scotland which is the Scottish element of Administrative Data Research UK funded by the ESRC.
