The Museum of Classical Archaeology is home to one of the finest surviving collections of plaster casts of the antique in the world. The Museum was founded in 1884 to house the Fitzwilliam Museum's growing collection of plaster casts - and is today a thriving University of Cambridge Museum, embedded within the Faculty of Classics, one of the leading university Classics departments in the UK.
